originally created in New Orleans in February 2018, it is an open mic without a mic, because it allows for a more immersed environment for those sharing their art — one where they can be both heard and felt simultaneously.
those who attend are invited to be vulnerable, or naked—free from the armor and masks often worn to navigate the world, in a space that asks:
if you could be naked, without judgment, how would you show up, what would you say, what would you share?
